At long last a ski vise designed specifically for alpine touring bindings! Rather than clamping the sidewall of the ski this vise utilizes the binding's tech toe to retain the ski. No more trying to clamp slippery-sloping sidewalls, no more skis that are too wide to fit! It is genius! The ski is retained only when base side up, which is when you need it most secure for waxing, scraping or filing base edges. A 12mm lift block is included to raise the center tower if needed. When working the side edges simply place the ski at a 90° or 60° angle (we recommend the 60° angle) and friction prevents it from moving around. The vise set includes tip and tail supports, center tech-toe-tower, a 12mm lift block and two brake retaining rubber bands...in case you have brakes.
